Day is done, gone the sun,
From the lake, from the hills, from the sky;
All is well, safely rest, God is nigh.
From the lake, from the hills, from the sky;
All is well, safely rest, God is nigh.
Fading light, dims the sight,
And a star gems the sky, gleaming bright.
From afar, drawing nigh, falls the night.
And a star gems the sky, gleaming bright.
From afar, drawing nigh, falls the night.
Thanks and praise, for our days,
'Neath the sun, 'neath the stars, neath the sky;
As we go, this we know, God is nigh.
'Neath the sun, 'neath the stars, neath the sky;
As we go, this we know, God is nigh.

Hi Vicki,
This is a beautiful post. Just looking at all the beautiful water and the folks in jackets by the fire reminds me of a cooler time and gives me hope that maybe someday we will see rain and cool weather again. Thanks for stopping by and hope you are having a great Sunday!

Hi Vicki! Thank you so much for visiting me and saying hello. I hope you like the picnic sandwich...it's one of favourites! Your vacation pictures are lovely! Don't you just love vacation near water? Superior Lake is massive! The sunset pics are really gorgeous! Have a wonderful week! Angie xo
